  Ian Sandels
 Ian passed away peacefully after a long fight with cancer. Ian worked in Manchester on Outside Broadcasts from the age of 21 to his retirement.

  Albert Hobbs
 Albert worked in the Manchester NOU, Blackfriars Unit E, Blackfriars TXE4, and Subs Maintenance in the old Manchester Central Area.

  Steve Brady
 Steve worked in Swinton on Exchange Maintenance around 40 years ago before moving into the NOU around 1990 working on System X and AXE10 Maintenance/Surveillance. He moved on to network support and worked there until being put in the CTC. He then got as job working in Dial House on MEAS around 9/10 years ago where he worked on various roles until he left BT in 2017 on a release package. Steve was a popular and well liked man and was always ready to share his extensive knowledge.

  Alan Miles
 Alan worked for BT for in it's many guises for 42 years before retiring in 1987. A great many years were spent working in Dial House where he rose to the rank of Executive Engineer before spending some time as a Lecturer at Horwood House near Milton Keynes then finishing his career in Bristol.

  Jeff Roberts
 Jeff spent most of his service in the Manchester South area rinsing from Y2YC to level two. He retired to Cambridgeshire

 Barry joined the old GPO as a Y2YC. He spent most of his working life in the Manchester Television Network Switching Centre before retiring in 1993

 Ron was level one on external planning in Manchester Central for most his career

 Cliff was a line manager on Switch and Transmission Exchange Construction in the old Manchester North area

  Peter Heys
 Peter started work on GPO Telegraphs and was the Level 1 over the North TEO when he retired. He was also very much involved in the World of Horse Racing.

  Peter Walker
 Peter worked on EL & P in Manchester Guardian / Tunnel and Dial House amongst other places. He retired in the 1980's.

 Nadine passed away at the young age of 46. She worked at Grand Island, Manchester.

  Brian Pugh
 Brian worked in Dial House Manchester in the TVNSC for many years. He was also a keen Radio Amateur (G3SMU)

  Tom Hoey
 Tom was a TO in LV/D Repeater Station and then became a level 1 manager in Liverpool. In the mid 80s he was promoted to Level 2 and took up the post of LinkLine Liason Officer in Manchester, based in St Andrews House.

  Malcom Pickup
 Malc worked on the South Manchester area including Sale exchange and later in Dial House

  Ken Fearns
 Ken carried out his National Service in Singapore. On his return he worked on telegraphs before joining the fitting teams. His next step was construction before moving to exchange maintenance at Sale ATE. His final move was to Trafford and Longford where he carried out TO(a) duties. He remained at Longford until he retired. Ken was one of the few people to be awarded The BT Imperial Service Medal.

 Paul spent most of his BT life working in Dalton on the 3rd Floor, Dial House.

  Jim Purvis
 Jim worked in Manchester on External Planning. He spent his last 15 years of employment at the Training School in Didsbury as Instructor on UG installation.

  Lol Williamson
 Lol will be widely and greatly remembered as both secretary and chairman of the Manchester Central Internal branch of the POEU / NCU. Before his Union duties, Lol worked on Trunk Auto rota duties in Rutherford House, Manchester. Following his Union duties, Lol was a manager in Dial House. Lol was also one of the founders of BTMRstaff.
