| Steve started as a TTA on EL and P in 1969 he then has spells on Exchange Construction and Maintenance in Manchester North and South areas. He subsequently moved to the BT training college at Stone for several years before moving to America for 15 years with BT-Concert. He returned to the UK a few years ago. |

| Harold joined as a Y2Yc. He worked in the Auto exchange field being on the area pool before running Woodley Telephone exchange for some years. He later worked on Transmission at Manchester G before being promoted. He eventually went on to work at the RNCC before retirement. |

| Ted was 86 and spent his later years in BT on Exchange Maintenance at Wilmslow. |

| | Mike Flynn |
| Mike lived in Glossop. He joined the GPO from the Forces. He worked as a TO in the 60s in Dial House on Works Orders. Later he went to work on TEO with Alan Bannister and then finally MR/G on Transmission Maintenance. He was promoted to Level 1 and then finally Level 2 within the NW Regional Headquarters before taking retirement.
Mike served 30 plus years as a JP in the Tameside Area where he was also active on the Mottram Bypass Committee for many years. He was a keen Badminton and Table Tennis player in his time. He will be sadly missed by all of his colleagues. |

| Sid retired from BT in 1994 spending his later career in the Sales Department rising to the heights of a Level 5. He was a colourful chap and well liked by all those who he worked with in BT. He was a very busy and active person both in BT and at home, an avid and very capable DIY man who could turn his hand to anything. He also had a market stall at Altrincham Market with his wife Sandra selling shoes. |
