Farewell Steve Payne and Mike Carr | |

Hi From BT MR Staff, | |

Sadly we have two deaths to report today.

Firstly, Ron Dawson informed us of the Death of Steve Payne. Ron went on to say:

Sadly I have to inform people that 'Big Steve Payne' passed away in hospital on Sunday evening, 10th of Febuary after a short illness.

He was 67 years old. Steve spent most of his career in Dalton Trunk Exchange before moving on to Trunk Test, TVNSC, and finally the Outside Broadcast group.

He was a very sociable, larger than life character who loved his football, representing MANCASS and playing for his home town team, Atherton Coll’s.

He will be greatly missed by his many friends.
