Newsletter 003

Hi All BT MR Staff members,

Welcome to our third newsletter from BT Manchester Staff.

Reunion Done!!!

I think we can safely say that the 2011 reunion was a success.

Around 300 people signed in at the reunion reception and I would guess that quite a few more sneaked past without signing in. I would estimate there were around 400 people in attendance at the height of the evening. A big thanks to everyone who made the effort and turned out.

Thanks to Dave Massey who wrote an excellent letter summing up the evening. If you've not seen yet click here. If you want to have your say, put pen to paper on our contact page.

We now have around 80 photos of the event that attendees have uploaded or emailed in. If you haven't had a look at them yet click here. I wish that I had took more myself, there didn't seem to be as many cameras in action as at the last reunion. If you still have some photos on your camera or phone get them uploaded!

The raffle raised £500 pound for The Christie Hospital. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. There are still some unclaimed prizes. If you still have your raffle tickets check them here.

A few people have asking me if I have email addresses or contact details for former colleagues that they have lost touch with. I hope to make it possible soon for registered members to be able to make contact via the website. There are currently just under 200 registered members, I will also add the details of the people who gave their email addresses at the reunion and those Mike Norris has on his extensive contact list. I'll give more details about this service later once it's up and running.
