| Nigel Milne posted a notice with the sad news of Dave's death.

| Dave's wife Ivy and daughter Amanda sent me the very sad news that he passed away suddenly last Monday the 12th October.
| |

| He left BT in the mid 1990's on release; then worked part time at B&Q Bury where I know he enjoyed bumping into former colleagues for a chat.

| |
| I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dave on various occasions in the 1980-90's when he worked in the ADCO and Datel Planning offices moving latterly to Customer Network Operations Project Management all based in Telephone House Manchester. Previously he had worked on external works groups around the Greater Manchester telephone area.

| He was a true gentleman extremely knowledgeable and always great company to be with.
| |
|
| |
| The funeral is arranged for Monday the 26th October at Radcliffe Crematorium; due to current restrictions it will be strictly family only in attendance.
