| It is with sadness that I report the death of Sid Conroy who passed away at Wythenshawe Hospital on the 3rd of April 2018 of Colon Cancer, following a very difficult 12 months with Parkinson's Disease.

| Sid retired from BT in 1994 spending his later career in the Sales Department rising to the heights of a Level 5, no mean achievement, he was a colourful chap and well liked by all those who he worked with in BT. Interestingly he had his picture included in one of the yearly telephone Directory publications.

| |
| He was a very busy and active person both in BT and at home, an avid and very capable DIY man who could turn his hand to anything. He also had a market stall at Altrincham Market for many years with his wife Sandra selling shoes, a very successful business now a thriving shop in Hale Village managed by his son Stuart.
