| Jeff Horsfall has been in touch with the sad news of Dave's death.

| I received the following from Dave Armstrong;

| Dave Smith affectionately known as DAS sadly passed away on Saturday 13th June at his home in Wales. I understand he had been battling with cancer for some time.

| |
| Dave was probably best known as TOA at Macclesfield RSC in the 1970s and 80s. RIP Dave and sincere condolences to his family.

| |
| I have no details of funeral or family contacts sorry.
| |
| |
| Due to the current restrictions on gatherings it is unlikely that friends and colleagues will be able to attend the funeral.
