| RIP Cliff Dodd - update changed venue |

Recently we received the very sad news that Cliff Dodd passed away peacefully at a nursing home after battling illness for some time. Cliff was aged 71.
Cliff started at BT as an apprentice in the early 1970.s. He worked at Turret, then Rutherford House and left BT to pursue another career in the 1980’s.
Some years ago Cliff by chance, discovered a large group of his old colleagues met on the First Thursday of every month at the Shambles. He suddenly appeared one day and absolutely loved the Banter and Camaraderie of the group and greatly relished his monthly trips on the First Thursday.’s traveling from his home in Chapel en le Frith.
Funeral update No2: change of venue
Due to family circumstances the funeral will be privately held.
For those who wish to celebrate Cliff's life there will be a wake. Casual dress for attendees.
Because of the numbers wanting to attend the original venue is no longer big enough. The date and time is unchanged.

Pointing Dog Gastropub

Cheadle Hulme

A group traveling to the wake will meet at Piccadilly station at 12:00pm to take the train To Cheadle.
