 | | Farewell Albert Hobbs |
| | Ian Gregory and Alan Murphy contacted us with the sad news of the passing of Albert Hobbs.
Albert has worked in The Manchester NOU, Blackfriars Unit E, Blackfriars TXE4 and Subscriber Maintenance in the old Manchester Central Area.
Albert's funeral will take place on Wednesday, March 21st, 1.30 pm at Radcliffe Crematorium. |

I remember Al Hobbs. He worked at Rutherford House when I was there in the 70's.

I 'worked' with Albert in the early 1970's in the old Blackfriars strowger exchange . I finished my apprenticeship there and went on to become a T.O. and Albert was always willing to help me along the way. I will never forget all the great times we had celebrating our colleagues birthdays and special occasions. Albert, you will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. |
