rose.jpg Farewell Trevor Bevan
Dave Crowley via Colin Woodbridge informed us of the sad news of Trevor's death.

Trevor Bevan sadly passed away this morning 3rd Dec.
He'd been in a care home for around a year with an illness linked to Dementia.
Another of the really good guys and a great character. He will be sadly missed by all.

Rick Pennington added:-

I have some very sad news, the passing of Trevor Bevan, a dear friend.

Trevor Passed away on the morning of the 3rd of December; he was 77. He unfortunately was diagnosed with aphasia about 7 years ago. He still came out for a drink with our group of friends but as time went on his presence was less frequent. His last attendance was our Christmas do 2021. The photo is from a day out in the summer of that year.

Trevor worked on the south side of Manchester on Transmission construction, he later moved onto Megastream provision. He took advantage of one of the release packages when he was 56 but carried on working renovating houses and the odd job for people.

Trevor's funeral:-

Tuesday 17th of December at 3.15pm
Rowan Chapel Stockport Crematorium
Buxton Rd
Stockport
SK2 6LS.

Then onto:
High Lane Cricket Club
Middlewood Road
High Lane
Stockport
SK6 8AU

Attire; dark and smart please and no floral tributes.

I've been so fortunate to have worked and socialised with Trevor since I was a 16 year old apprentice. What a lovely bloke and true character.Anyone who ever met Trev will always remember him, as there was always humour involved. No matter what! It's been heartbreaking to see his health failing in the last few years.I'll keep remembering the laughs we've had over the years. You'll be sadly missed mate.
