Sad to here about Bill Wade passing just to let you know I grew up with Bill when we lived in Lees Street Higher Openshaw his dad was called Jack he worked at Robertson's jam I knew his mum too I went to the world cup final with Bill back in 1966 happy days very sad to here about the loss send condolences to his family. |

Have only just seen this notice and am really shocked, I remember you coming to Collyhurst well you always reminded me for pre course training on Directors. You went a long way since those days. RIP Bill, now you and Howie will be able to watch the Reds together again. |

I never worked with Bill at bt but I grew up with him in higher openshaw I lived at 24 lees St I think bill lived at no30 davy jones from the monkeys 🐒lived around the corner on Leamington St I went to world cup final in 1966 with Bill his was called Jack I knew his mum bills dad worked for Robertsons jam in Droylsden I moved from manchester in 1967 and moved to romiley near Stockport happy days send my deepest condolences to his wife and family luv from Glynn Jean and 👪xxx |
