| | Farewell Tom Hoey |
| Bernie Rowlands has contacted me to pass on the sad news of the passing away of Tom Hoey. Tom had been suffering for some time with memory and health problems and had deteriorated latterly.
Tom was a TO in LV/D Repeater Station and then became a level 1 manager in Liverpool. In the mid 80s he was promoted to Level 2 and took up the post of LinkLine Liason Officer in Manchester, based in St Andrews House. Many of the Dial House old DSN team will remember him well.
The funeral will be in Crosby on Thursday 31st August at 12noon.
The church is Saint Peter and Pauls, 161 Liverpool Road, Crosby, Liverpool L23 5TE |

Hi Mike, Hope you are well and thank you for the information, I don’t remember Tom but nevertheless it’s always sad to hear of the passing away of a colleague. |

Worked with Tom in LV D in the late sixties. He also ran the Telecom football team. Tom was a real gentleman with an excellent sense of humour and sense of fairness. May he Rest In Peace. |
