 John Coop contacted us with the sad news of Stan's death.

STANLEY GORMAN Stan, of Sale, passed away peacefully at St Ann's Hospice on 4th April 2018 aged 74 years. A much loved husband of Lorna, a loving father to Jonathon and David, devoted Grandfather of Tara and Christopher. Father in law to Gib. Stan will be greatly missed by all family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Altrincham Crematorium on Monday 30th April 2018 at 3.30 pm. Family flowers only please but donations if desired for St Anns Hospice, Little Hulton and all enquiries may be sent to Ashton Brookes Funeral Directors. Churchside, Church Street, Altrincham. WA14 4DB Telephone 0161 928 7816

Sad news indeed, we seem to be dropping like ........
I can tell you that Stan was my TO on Works Orders in the Telex Exchange York Street when I started in 1978. I was with him for about a year until I moved to Circuit Provision across the road in Rutherford House. I lost touch with him over the years, as you do.
But when our paths did occasionally cross it was always good to catch up.
