| | Farewell Graham Bell |
| John Coop has been in touch about the death of Graham 'Dinger' Bell.
Sad news I’m afraid. Graham passed away on Saturday 19th January. He had been suffering from dementia for 2 to 3 years and had further complications resulting in his death.
Graham worked on Trunk Test in Dial House for several years before transferring to the Training School at Didsbury. When the school closed he went back to Dial House until his retirement.
Please circulate details for those who knew him.
Cheers John
Graham's funeral arrangements:
Friday 1st February 12:30
Manchester Crematorium,
Barlow Moor Road,
Chorlton

One person I DO remember was Dinger Bell, I was on Works Orders behind Trunk Test when Dinger was there, I must have moved on by the time he went back to Dial House... Pity I can’t make his funeral, we’ll be abroad on hols on 1st February. Cheers Bud |

I remember ‘Dinger’ well from my Dial House days, a really nice soft spoken bloke who got on well with everyone. Sad loss.... |

We sat opposite each other as lecturers at Didsbury. He had enthusiasm for life and his family. Unfortunately his enthusiasm for the job did not rub off on me and I had to resign with depression at 43. A whole new way of life evolved leading to contentment. I certainly did the right thing. |
