| | Farewell Brian Warren |
| Jessica Warren contacted us about her Dad's death
My Dad, Brian Warren sadly passed away last Monday (the 16th March). He had been poorly for a few months but his passing was sudden and unexpected - I have only just managed to get access to this site to inform you.
My Dad worked in Dial House in Manchester for many years, all he ever did was tell us stories about his days as BT Engineer and his escapades with ‘the lads’.
Due to the nature of our current situation there will be no funeral, once the restrictions have been lifted we will be arranging a memorial service for people to pay their respects. I will post the details on here as soon we have them.
Stay safe and thank you :) | |

I am not sure that I was ever “One of the Lads” maybe, it was a long time ago. I think that I first met Brian in the early 1980’s but I remember him best whilst working on the Derived Services Exchange in D/H. A very friendly and helpful guy. When we last met a couple of years back on Burnage Lane he was even more friendly and we had a ‘man hug’ not something we would have done in the 1980’s or indeed now ! As ever a sad loss. My sympathy to all the family. Stay safe ‘everybody’ |

RIP Brian. We had some great times at Rutherford House in the early 70's. Gone too young. |
