 | | Farewell Les Turner |
| | Jim Heathcote has been in touch with the sad news of Les's death.
this is just let anyone who knew him that Les Turner who was on exchange construction in the 70's 80's and part of the 90's before he took the money has passed away.
He has been poorly for a while and was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago and passed away on Saturday evening.
Jim has got back to us with the funeral details:-
Tuesday 14th July at 2:30pm
Stockport Crematorium
Buxton Road
Heaviley
Stockport
SK2 6LS
Due to social distancing restrictions only family members will be allowed in the chapel but the family say that friends and colleagues are welcome to attend service outside the chapel to pay their respects.
The family have also requested no flowers if you wish please make a donation in Les's name to the Nightingale Macmillan unit at Derby Royal Hospital. |

I spoke to Les's wife and she wishes to send her thanks to everyone that came to his funeral and apologies for not being able to talk to everyone.
