Unfortunately John passed away in December but the news has only come to light now. Pete Watson has let us know about Johns work at BT John came from Liverpool to take a level one post. Over the years he worked in the North and Central areas in various guises rising to level three in Dial House. He was a pleasant and respected boss always a gent. He took early retirement and joined the NE21 retirement group meeting monthly for the next 28 years. Unfortunately latterly he suffered with health problems resulting in his passing with severe breathing problems in December 2019. He had been unable to communicate in the last couple of months and as a result we only found out in late May.
