 | | Farewell Pete Smith |
| | Bill Heavey contacted us with the sad News of Pete's death.
It is with great sadness I want to report the death of Pete Smith.
Pete died on Christmas Day morning in hospital.
Pete worked virtually all his life in Central exchange. Initially on
Strowger, then TXE4.

Pete Smiths funeral is:-
Thursday 16th January at 10am
Christ The King Church
Manchester Road
Walkden
M28 3LN
Followed by internment in:
Wardley Cemetery
Wardley Hall Road
Worsley

Sad news indeed, first met Pete when I was a first year Youthie in 1964, nice friendly helpful sincere guy, in my first stint in Exch Mtce! |
