What do we do and why do we do it!
What's it all about?
We aim to be the first point of contact for BT and Ex BT employees based in and around Manchester UK. This is where we hope BT people will announce births, deaths, marriages and other events.
Reunions
We are the first point of contact for past and present employees of BT who have worked in and around the Manchester area. We also organise reunions. The first Reunion was held in 2000 it was another 10 years before the second one in 2010. It seems a long time to wait for a get-together so after the success of the 2010 Reunion attended by hundreds of BT colleagues and friends. 2011's Reunion was an informal get together again attended by hundreds of participants. The 2012 Reunion was a ticketed event and the numbers had fallen off but it was still a successful friendly get-together. The 2014 reunion was well attended. This was a more informal event, people were just invited along for a drink and a chat with minimal organisation and no entrance fee.
